This course focuses on teaching the storm roll.
The storm roll is a very complex roll, in which many pieces of the puzzle have to happen at the same time in a short moment,
to make the roll fast, light and as powerless as possible.
In addition, we train on other forward finishing rolls, such as the reverse sweep roll, as the mood takes us.
Of course, we follow the wishes of the participants!
We start in the morning with a small yoga session to warm up.
This is followed by a short theory session on land and a lot of practice on the water.
A kayak can be hired for this course on request.
Requirements
- safe swimming in paddling gear
- safe underwater exit with spray deck without outside help
- basic paddling experiences
- one safe roll (e.g. layback roll)
- adequate cold protection (dry suit or tuilik)
