Depending on the status and wishes, we practice, for example:


  • Standard Roll with paddle behind neck (Siukkut Tunusummillugu) /back (Kingup apummaatigut)
  • Standard roll with paddle held in front
  • Scare Crow Roll (Tunusummillugu tallit illuttut siaarlugit)
  • Mummy Roll (Assammik Nerfallaqqaannarluni)/with norsaq (Norsamik Nerfallaqqaannarluni)
  • Hand Roll, start tucked forward finish leaning back (Asammik Nerfallallugu)
  • Rock Roll / Brick layback (Ujaqqamik Tigumisserluni Nerfallallugu)
  • Spine Roll (Aariammillugu)
  • Elbow Roll (Ikusaannarmik pukusuk patillugu)
  • Straight jacket (Tallit Paarlatsillugit timaannarmik)


If you are already familiar with the first rolls of the "entry level" and you want to try crazier things like the spine roll, the rock roll or something else (see "expert level"), then choose level 3.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, levels 2 and 3 will be combined.

Course Contents

This course is for those who already know the first layback rolls and want to learn more difficult rolls.
Of course, we adapt to the wishes of the participants!

We start in the morning with a small yoga session to warm up.
This is followed by a short theory session on land and a lot of practice on the water.

A kayak can be hired for this course on request.

Requirements

  • safe swimming in paddling gear
  • safe underwater exit with spray deck without outside help
  • Greenland rolling basics 
  • adequate cold protection (dry suit or tuilik)
